Silver medal winner at the Oscars of global beer, the International Brewing Awards 2019. Pouring a pale straw colour, Frisby is a bright lager with a dense white foam. A blend of German and English malts provides a delicate sweetness with biscuit & honied malt character. Very cold fermentation and extended maturation provide a clean base to build upon with English Fuggles hops which lend a light herbal and spicy aroma and definite yet soft bitterness.

A sumptuous orange hue provided by a base of the finest English barley malts builds a level of sweet malt complexity that is well balanced with English, New Zealand and US hops. Juicy hop aromas of oranges, tropical fruit and citrus orchards lead to a very pleasing bitterness and cleansing finish.

Gold medal winner at the Oscars of global beer, the International Brewing Awards 2019. For us, its simply the World's best lager. But, you decide. A beautiful looking beer – dark brown in colour with deep garnet highlights and a crema-like foam. Gunmetal is clean and crisp from a long and slow ferment at 9°C with our house lager yeast. Aromas of herbal & earthy Noble hops jostle for position with the delicate aromas of lightly roasty, toasty and smooth biscuit malt. Deliciously on the palate – there is none of the burnt malt astringency normally associated with beers of this colour.

West Coast IPA
Deep golden marmalade in colour and pouring bright, hop-lead aromas of stonefruit, citrus, pine and tropical dominate. Hopping Spree is well built, with multiple hot-side hop additions adding complexity and drinkability and our dry hopping regime rounding the whole beer out. The malt takes a back seat in this beer, it’s pleasant and nuanced against the hopping, but the massive 6.6% ABV deliver the sweetness needed for a beer of this hop content.

Drover pours pale hazy golden in colour. Juicy citrus hop aromatics on the nose from lashings of Lemondrop & Bavaria Mandarina hops used late and as dry hop. A large amount of wheat in the Grist delivers a dry and silky mouthfeel. We have kept the bitterness low to make a real thirst slaker of a beer.

We brew limited edition beers inspired by seasonal ingredients, flavours and food pairings – both on our own and eventually in collaboration with others. It’s an opportunity to showcase the versatility of our brewery and brewers, scratch the itch to experiment, collaborate with friends and showcase the progressive spirit of modern British beer.
We release new 'single-batch' brews monthly. Some in keg, some in cask. Expect to see highly sessionable summer ales, wheat ales and a new lagers in coming months, moving on to ambers and Autumn hoppy wonderfulness come Autumn and finally to dark richness in the winter.

Pale golden in colour an elegant English hop aroma of floral & herbal notes lead into a slender bodied well balanced session beer. Subtle fruity notes from our house cask ale yeast strain are underpinned by Delicate caramel and bready malt characters. New Zealand Session IPA
An unfiltered hazy golden session IPA, pleasant biscuity Vienna malt with a massive whirlpool hopping – layers the fruity hops up on the palate. Delicately dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin and Kohatu build on the whirlpool hopping for a delicious fruity moreish aroma. Kiwi-as.
Taking 120 SECONDS TO SETTLE – REVEREND HOOKER is a smooth, creamy dry Irish stout. Pouring black with a tight white head, toasted malt & dried fruit aromas merge with earthy hop notes & evolve into a sublimely smooth & silky palate. Luscious roast malt characters of coffee & toast make way for a long & noble bitterness & delectably dry finish.
Society for the encouragment of virtue
Pouring viscous and jet-black with a crema-like foam – this Russian Imperial Stout has been 100% rum barrel-aged. Rich malt brings aromas of roast, dried fruits, liquorice & molasses. The mouthfeel is velvety, with sublime burnt, roasty & rum characters. The bitterness is robust at 65 ibu – but balanced – leading to a long lingering finish.
Plantation Rum Barrel-Aged Black Lager
We are so proud of our Gunmetal black lager and we wanted to celebrate a year of it. This is Gunmetal's Daddy. A true cold fermented black lager. Brewed to 7.3% ABV, it has been back-blended with Gunmetal that has matured in oak barrels, producing a subtle wood complexity, with hints of wood and vanilla.
Fuggling Hell! A real Helles style lager but brewed with English noble hop – the much under rated Fuggles. Bready malt notes with soft fuggles bitterness create a balance rarely matched. Light Hop aroma of herbal and slight spice combined with German Malts provide a delicate a morish lager.

Hazy Lavender Witbier
Our Brewgooder collaboration with The White Hag from Ireland & using stone ground wheat from our local “windy miller” – Nigel Moon of Whissendine Windmill - proceeds go to help deliver clean water to villages in Malawi. this spiced wheat beer is inspired by the Malawi national herbarium in the city of Zomba – the old colonial capital of Malawi.
Delicate yet complex – Zomba pours hazy white with a thick white pillowy head. Incredibly fragrant - This stunning Belgian witbier yeast strain delivers aromas of juicy fruit, skittles, Turkish delight and gentle phenolics. Orange zest and lime character from coriander seed lift the refreshing citrus character and are under-pinned by a subtle lavender flower aroma. The yeast character and botanicals continue on the palate – a refined bitterness make way for a gentle refreshing tartness.
Named after the village of burton lazars a short jaunt down the road from our brewery - This hop forward bright ale pours golden in colour. Grapefruit, citrus & passionfruit hop aromas overlay an indulgent caramel malt backbone. malt & hops are seamlessly intertwined by the fruit-character of our house cask-yeast. Lazars then rolls into a long & satisfying bitterness.
Use it or lose it
A single hopped session ale using 100% New Zealand Motueka hops. Luscious citrus aromas of lime flower and lemon zest deftly marries with a biscuity malt base. The balance in this beer is transcendent – creating maximum sessionability.
New Zealand Pilsner
Mainland, the affectionate Kiwi name for the South Island of this pacific gem of a nation, pours light golden with a luscious foam, this bright Pilsner beer is brewed with the finest Pacific Jade & Nelson Sauvin hops. A long but soft bitterness is matched by a delicately delicious winey fruitiness reminiscent of gooseberries. The taste of the top of the South Island expertly balanced to leave you wanting another.
Roast, black and chocolate malts provide a deep black colour with garnet highlights. Addition of Oyster sells adds a subtle briny character -Smooth and velvety – hopping is restrained, as it's only there for balance, and a use of UK hops provide earthy and spicy topnotes. One to sip by the fire.
A deep malty base, of melanoidin and crystal malts make this beer red in colour with great buscuity and caramel overtones to which we have added lashings of UK Golding, Cascade and Motueka hops, for an a lightly floral and supremely balanced Bitter.
Betty's Menagerie has a smooth malt body, smoothed out further by use of wheat and oats. A menagerie of USA, UK & NZ hops across multiple additions in the boil and whirlpool deliver a luscious aroma and excellent bitterness which provides good linger.
Brown Ale with Cacao Nibs
A comfort beer for the colder weather, chocolate brown & amber malts deliver chocolate, dried fruit and coffee notes with a restrained bitterness from UK Goldings and Fuggles hops for balance. The beer was matured warm on cacao nibs adding a silky and voluptuous cocoa character.
Succumb to Smoke
Bamberg Helles Rauchbier
Pouring light golden in colour with a dense white foam, Succumb to Smoke is an elegant lager beer with a fine balance of beechwood smoke character and malt. Smokey notes of bacon & ham on the nose lead in to a medium-dry palate with lightly sweet malt and restrained bitterness jostling for the finish. Sublime and unexpectedly moreish.
Green Hopped Session IPA
All about the Hops. Round Corner's first Brewjolais – celebrates the English Hop harvest. We gone to the West Midlands and picked the hops off the bine ourselves for this beer. Before they go in the kiln the green hops provide a character not normally seen in beers year round. Green, herbal and aromatic with a restrained bitterness, balanced by premium English Barley malts.
Cornerstone has excellent autumn hues. Amber and chocolate malts deliver a pleasant malt aroma. This is hopped with UK and NZ varieties to offer a soft and pleasing bitterness with herbal and earthy notes.
Our strongest Cask Ale of the year – Orange in colour from use of Crystal malt and English Pale Ale, layered with a ludicrous amount of American and NZ aromatic hops – through several additions in the boil and dry hopped. A luscious fruit cocktail of aroma – and balanced for enjoyment.
Summer Session Pale Ale
Bell Hotel pours pale straw with strong hop aroma from liberal use of Cascade, Mosaic, Simcoe and Jester late in the boil and dry hopped. Golden Promise Malt provides an excellent backbone for balance and at 3.9% why stop at one!
OG 1.042 / IBU 32 / Colour 16 EBC
Lazars pours a light Amber colour in the glass. New English hop
varieties, Godiva, Olicana & Mystic used with a heavy hand late in the boil gift luscious fruit cocktail aromas of mango, Tangerine, grapefruit and passionfruit. They go on to deliver an intense bitterness with great linger, all underpinned by a sumptuous malt sweetness from English heritage barley variety – Golden Promise, and balanced by a light honied, caramel character from crystal malt. A full flavoured session ale with an excellent finish.
*Bright Ale – best described as sitting somewhere between a pale ale and an amber ale with excellent hop bitterness above 30 IBU. This beer is fined to be bright.
